Boating Lake Simcoe
For years now Stuart has always talked about the fact that his father owns a sailboat, the said sailboat is amazing to go around Lake Simcoe on and the he knows all about sailing. I will admit that I'd been hearing about the alleged sailboat for so long that I stopped believing Stu. (I'm sorry honey I'll never doubt you again.)
This summer Stu's parents put the sailboat in the water for the first time in several years and have been fixing it up and taking it around Lake Simcoe. Now that we finally came back east and stopped pretending to be cow loving Albertans we got to take a trip on it.
I don't like boats as a general rule. Ok maybe I like them sometimes but I get violently sick on them. I didn't want to go and tried every excuse to get out of going but I ended up going kicking and screaming. Ok I wasn't kicking and screaming I do want to set the example of being semi-normal for my inlaws.
Despite my fears of nausea, vomiting, being uncomfortable because I'm the size of a cow, I had a great time. Grace had a great time and I hope to do it again. Stu even got to impress me with sailorly knowledge.

Kyle LOVES sailing. He took lessons as a kid and if we had the money would have owned one by now...me not such a fan (I am more of a bass boat with light fishing girl).
